Feeling convicted this Sunday morning as I was reading the book of John (19 & 20). The crucifixion and His resurrection. I haven’t touched on it since Easter. Our Creator made His Son human in order to sacrifice Him for us. For you. To wash our our sins away so that we can have a beautiful relationship with God. And yet I still sin everyday and disobey Him. When I think about the Lamb on the cross, beaten and bruised, I question why I don’t obey the being who died for me. Why do I keep turning to sin knowing that it breaks His heart when I do? This morning was a big wake up call in surrendering. Surrendering is to abandon oneself entirely to. Abandoning oneself entirely. Not partly, not sometimes, but entirely. For He is Holy, our Agnus Dei. He is eagerly waiting for us to surrender to Him and receive all of Love. He’s waiting with open arms and warmth. Come running to Him. And embrace Him entirely!!!!
