A couple months ago, we started taking midday work breaks to go on runs together. What began as just another item on my to-do list quickly became an hour I couldn’t do without. No matter what was going on in our lives, we stayed consistent and stepped up when the other needed extra motivation. We’ve shared laughs, talked about our future, how we want to show up as parents and professionals, and, more than anything, realized how much we missed this time together. There’s literally no one else in the world I’d want to crush this goal with. Half marathon officially checked off the bucket list.
