Every year on my birthday, I always post a throwback photo because I want to look back as I (begrudgingly) move forward. This year, I want to remember that my brother had kachupoy hair, that my face during my pre-teen years could be likened to a basketball (it’s like I had mumps—it was worse when I actually had mumps), and that we had moments that we were both laughing and happy. I still can’t believe you’re gone. Okay, I’m being too much of a bummer. Cheers to 41 years. 😊
