Fifteen years ago today I left New York for a month to live with @alexandrecorda in East London (one of the best times of my life). That period marks the second longest I’ve spent away from New York since I moved here in 2003. Aside from a 24 hour trip to Lakeland, Florida this weekend, for my beautiful cousin’s wedding, I haven’t traveled very much in the latter half of this year. It’s nearly impossible to leave Hugo. I am still working with Alex on transforming our new apartment into a home. And I love spending time in my office. Still, it’s been a drastic lifestyle change for someone who is used to being on the road half of every month. These photos of me are from a December 2010 shoot in London with @daisylowe that were in the February 2011 issue of @jalousemag. It feels both a lifetime away and yet so close.
