First shot is a detail of “Attentive awareness” a painting I made in 2014. Second shot is the same painting zoomed out a bit. This was one of the first pieces I made about the closed eye visual hallucinations I saw when facing a strobe light. I later discovered these visual hallucinations where called “form constants” and they have been studied widely in the scientific literature. I studied this literature and later painted an entire show about form constants in 2019 with @quintgallery
