Listen to the reel to hear what to look for, and read below to learn more! ⤵️ 🔹Current estimates are that one in five Americans will develop skin cancer in their lifetime. 🔹It is estimated that approximately 9,500 people in the U.S. are diagnosed with skin cancer every day. 🔹Research estimates that non-melanoma skin cancer (NMSC), including basal cell carcinoma (BCC) and squamous cell carcinoma (SCC), affects more than 3 million Americans a year. 🔹Basal cell and squamous cell carcinomas, the two most common forms of skin cancer, are highly treatable if detected early and treated properly. 🔹Men and women with a history of non-melanoma skin cancer are at a higher risk of developing melanoma than people without a non-melanoma skin cancer history.
