Here are a few of my biggest take aways after being blessed enough to spend the last month in Europe: 1. Concern yourself with how you make people feel, not how you can impress them. Europeans don’t seem to care at all about what you do for a living (I was literally not asked a single time), they care about how you make them feel. I like it. 2. Show your love in public - hold hands and hold the smooch a little longer! Love is expressed so much more freely in Europe whether between partners, family members, or friends. It makes me feel tingly, I’m into it! 3. Savor your meal, your drinks, and your company. People dine for hours in Europe, eating drinking, and talking to the people at their table and those around them. Me and @samantha.bove embraced this, made friends with people sitting next to us, and wound up out with them at a club in Athens dancing the night away. It’s ok to make eye contact with strangers (I’m looking at you New Yorkers lol) and I will continue to do it! 4. Don’t sweat the small stuff. AC doesn’t work? Take your clothes off. Wi-Fi isn’t working? Put the phone down, do it later. Can’t find a parking spot? Park anywhere there’s space. I will definitely be trying to let more things just roll off my back (like the sweat did when the AC didn’t work 😂). 5. The ocean and the beach make me feel joyful, alive, and free. 6. Italy is the GOAT. That’s it, that’s all I have to say on that.
