Taking place in Dishoom Manchester (8th August), Dishoom Birmingham (9th August) and culminating in a twilight event outside Dishoom King’s Cross on the 75th anniversary of Indian Independence (15th August), our carefully curated events will bring together history, music and food in a unique interpretation of Kavita Puri’s book, “Partition Voices: Untold British Stories”. Inviting survivors of partition who have made journeys in both directions to share their testimonies, we invite you to join us for a unique and personal remembrance of this key moment in South Asian and British history.
