🎶We can't claim this is our land, when we ourselves are immigrants.🎶 . . . For those of you that don't know, I'm half Mexican. My dad's parents are from Mexico. And if it wasn't for them coming to this country and wanting better lives for their children, my dad might not have been adopted and who knows if I would be here today. There are some serious changes that need to be made with our current policies at the southern border. Human and American rights are being neglected. I don't understand how people don't see this, or how they can just overlook it. People of color are being attacked and the lack of humanity is disgusting. Shout out to @mska91 for her quote of "the rest of us are only here by dumb luck and privilege," this could not hold more truth. ICE needs to be abolished and human rights are for EVERYONE.
