Mothman 🪰🔴 Palette 10 of #13PalettesofHalloween Okay, so far I feel like all the palettes I’ve included in my little Halloween countdown have been pretty self explanatory as to what movie they’re inspired by. This one, however, probably requires a little more explanation. This is the Mothman palette from Dazzle Me Dead Cosmetics! They came out with a series of palettes a few years ago inspired by legendary monsters, and Mothman was one! (I also have their Medusa palette from that same line, and it’s bangin. I should really use it more tbh. Their mattes especially are really good and you get SOOO much product 😱) Anywho! That’s the palette, and with it, I recommend watching The Mothman Prophecies (2002). The film stars Richard Gere and Laura Linney, and is a really excellent, creepy thriller that brings a new twist to the Mothman legend. I haven’t watched it in years so I’m very excited to rewatch it this spooky season and see if it still freaks me out as bad as it did when I was younger 😂 Has anyone else seen it? Did you enjoy it? Let me know! Also, it’s hard to tell until you see the eye closeup, but my winged liner (literally) is inspired by @glamgio_nyc ‘s Mothman graphic eye look!! I wasn’t feeling the negative space of the liner over the red eyeshadow in my version tho, and sadly there wasn’t a matte black (or many dark shades at all) in the Mothman palette for me to fill in the shape with, so I dipped into my Cult palette from Spellbound Beauty for that 🤷🏻‍♀️ Also, I opted for my new lipstick from Our Darling x Petals and Poison for this look because grey lippies like that make me think of moths, idk why. It may not be the best pairing color wise, but I’m just a sucker for violet/grey shades like this one!
