Wellness Wednesday - I exercise for MANY reasons—first and foremost for my mental health. Living with Usher syndrome can make physical exercise seem overwhelming or unsafe but it is so important for us to strengthen our core and work on our balance. Side planks are an excellent exercise to develop core strength without the need for equipment or risk of running into anything. Try doing 1 set of :30 sec on your right and then left side, 2 sets of :30 on each side, or 3 sets of :30 on each side and let me know how it goes! VD: Rebecca is on the floor of her apartment.
