We are horrified to hear that four Iranian protesters, Mohammad Ghobadlou, Mohammad Hosseini, Mohammad Mehdi Karami and Mohammad Boroughani, are at imminent risk of execution in Iran. This comes after the Supreme Court’s decision to uphold their death sentences. Two Iranian protesters, Mohsen Shekari and Majidreza Rahnavard, have already been executed following unfair, fast-tracked trials. The imminent threat of more executions is unthinkable. We stand in solidarity with Mohammad Ghobadlou, Mohammad Hosseini, Mohammad Mehdi Karami, Mohammad Boroughani and all Iranians fighting for justice and freedom.
