After 37 days and more than 2200 miles sailed from southern Maine, Polar Sun has arrived in Disko Bay. 🇬🇱 🇬🇱 🙏🙏🙏 Last night we anchored in the Whale Fish Islands in what we believe is the exact spot where the Franklin expedition dropped the hook in July of 1845. At long last it is time for us to pick up Franklin’s trail and to endeavor, as humbly as we can, to follow in the wakes of the Erebus and the Terror into the Northwest Passage.
