Self Care Everyday 🙌🏾 But something abt Sunday hits different. #selfcaresunday ✨ @sogooditsnoughty Microfibre hair towel *gifted @firstaidbeauty ✨ KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub - with 10% AHA This KP Bump Eraser has been trending so long that I thought to try it and share my personal opinion. 👉🏾 No distinct fragrance so if you like #fragrancefreeskincare , this is for you. 👉🏾 It didn’t irritate my skin, no prominent redness as with some #bodyscrubs I use. (They do say it’s safe for #sensitiveskin). 👉🏾 The physical exfoliant is pumice, and glycolic and lactic acid are the main chemical exfoliants. 👉🏾 Starting with the results, my skin felt so smooth and soft after each use and I loved the afterglow. 👉🏾 I kinda expected the smoothness though, because of how gritty the texture was. It literally felt like I was rubbing sea sand on my body. 👉🏾 I’d have preferred if it left my skin feeling a bit moisturised, so I guess you’d enjoy it more if you don’t have dry skin. 👉🏾 In terms of working on KP, after almost finishing the tube, I’ve not seen any change. Really disappointing 😩 because a lot of people see results and this just shows how personal skincare really is. ✨ KP Smoothing Body Lotion - with 10% AHA This is where I feel the game changed. It complements the scrub so well. 👉🏾With the glycerin- urea combo, I knew my #dryskin would be catered for. It does feel moisturising. 👉🏾 It’s got allantoin, colloidal oatmeal, ceramides- so it’s soothing and barrier protecting. In addition to lactic acid (exfoliating and hydrating), it’s got licorice root extract for brightening. 👉🏾 It’s creamy, but somehow works out non-greasy and a bit lightweight. It also rubs in quite well. (I apply on damp skin right out of the shower.) 👉🏾 It’s also got no distinct fragrance. 👉🏾 Leaves my skin glowy, soft and smooth. 👉🏾 Again, in terms of KP, no significant difference.
