I think there is a special strength in friendship and when these forces are combined in a creative project this can be really powerful. The numerous times I have seen Pierre we have spoken about many things, once we had outlined this project - we already had found common ground years ago. We enlisted the help of friend and designer Mark Schuijt who has been a collaborator for many years. A collaboration which is very instinctive. The short films have a character reminiscent of a ‘movie trailer’, all shot on the Super 16mm format - keeping the original dimensions of cinemascope. Saskia’s has a special talent to visually tell stories, we collaborated on the film treatment and Saskia wrote the voice-over.
