An exciting new start for many, but for some children and young people in care they face the daunting prospect of a new school or class (perhaps when they weren’t expecting it), change in routine, different expectations and environments and introductions to new adults and peers. Home for Good believe that every child and young person should have a family and community around and beside them, encouraging and supporting them to fulfil their potential. Unbelievably a child enters the UK care system every 15 minutes, and Home for Good’s vision is to find a home for every child who needs one through fostering, adoption or supported lodgings.
