💎BENNY💎 Grammys 2022 We dreamed up this look 5 months ago. Inspired by Matadors and Maharajas, I went to the library and studied up on my beading and embroidery masters. Naeem Khan, Galliano, Schiaparelli and all the old French stuff. We then collaborated with @perte_dego where he had a team of Indian artisans work around the clock for 7 days, because shipping issues, deadlines etc. each flower motif was hand beaded and hand embroidered on a peacock green silk wool fabric. Each flower designed and placed by me via video chat and text message, zoom calls at 10-11pm due to the time changes. I even found a woman on Etsy, importing Indian jewelry and attached earrings to the cuffs and collar. Never really knowing if I was going to pull it off! But here it is. A TRUE work of art. Same with the shoes! All custom, all via video chat and text, all hand done by the crystal queen @amorirstudio Thank you @itsbennyblanco for being my muse!
