It’s been a New York minute, so we’re going 20 slides deep. Still on a runner’s high feeling cute and emotional, might archive later. From having no desire to run a marathon just two years ago to crushing double majors weeks apart, it’s been a transformational year of racing with lots to be proud of (promise I’ll ride bikes again in ‘25). Though I may not show it, I am wildly thankful to everyone I’ve met along this journey. THANK YOU @steph0neyy for bringing me into the @oldmanrunclub family, to the @nikerunning coaches and @projectmoonshot 🐺 pack for your guidance and competitive spirit, to the talented shooters who kept our socials fresh week after week, and, most importantly, to @verdantnyc’s endless support. @alldaydaoyi nailed it: “Running doesn’t define who I am but it helps remind me what I’m capable of.” It’s also a reminder that you get what you give, and I’m incredibly lucky to be a part of this community.
