Hi bebés I know Pride month is almost over but I just wanted to show you I finally had time to go and see my work with @calvinklein in stores. Walking into their Citadel location and seeing my image on display was such a surreal moment with my parents. Ugh what is lyfe?! A total dream we never even fathomed. Me for Calvin Klein whaaat? What’s more is the image used was a last minute creative project. I just had the idea of making a floral headpiece because I create using the skills I have and flower arrangements were taught to me and my siblings because of my mom. She was always hustling to provide for us. And aside from the gift shop at the Lincoln Mini Mall she also decorated quinceañeras and weddings my whole upbringing and taught us everything we know because we were her employees lol Around the time of the shoot I was reminiscing on the first time I got approached from a photographer about being a model. I was selling flower arrangements on the curb with my brother for Mother’s Day and a photographer came up and asked me if I wanted to model. I was 19. Anyway that memory led to creating this photo which got picked for Calvin Klein’s Pride capsule. What is lyfe?! I know I say this often but I do believe it. Whatever you hold onto no one can take away. Don’t let go of your dreams bebés🌹
