There are easily hundreds of people I could specifically thank, but I have just a couple more that I want to shout out. I have to give a massive thank you to the entire organization of @usacycling and @teamusa, with a special shoutout to @jimmillertime & @britbmxer . Representing the United States and wearing the national team jersey is something I never took lightly and always thought of as an honor. . It wasn’t always smooth sailing though, and I wasn’t always the easiest to work with, but we all had the same goal... to win. They knew I wasn’t there for the track suit or the Instagram posts. Actually, Instagram didn’t even exist back then when we got started on this journey 😂. . In 2010 I went to my first international World Cup in Madrid Spain, I was 17 and I was left off the national team. In the words of MJ, “I took that personally.” I never wanted to be left off a team again... and I wasn’t. Over the next 11 years we went to 3 Olympic Games, 2 pan American games, 10 world championships, and 36 world cups together. We won, we lost, we laughed, we cried, and we made some epic stories and memories. Thank you for everything to the entire staffs of USA Cycling, Team USA, and every single assistant coach, physical therapist, doctor, mechanic, and anyone else that was a part of the team. I will always be cheering for team USA. 🇺🇸
