❤️🎅🏻🎄 Crispy, golden and flavourful! These Chrissy puff pastry pizza bites taste great, look a bit fancy and are ready in less than 30mins. This recipe is especially fantastic if you have little people and want to give them an activity in the kitchen cutting out shapes and topping the pizza bites! I’ve used tomatoes and capsicum to top mine to tie in with the Christmas theme but really the sky is the limit and you can use your favourite pizza toppings and make fun combinations. I’ll be using a green pesto base next and if you don’t have Christmas cookie cutters, just cut out circles. ✅ Like and Save to try ✅ INGREDIENTS ▪️Puff pastry, defrosted Your fave pizza toppings - I used: ▪️Tomato paste or pizza sauce ▪️Double smoked ham, thinly diced ▪️Mixed herbs ▪️Cherry tomatoes ▪️Green capsicum ▪️Pizza cheese, shredded METHOD 1️⃣Preheat oven to 180C fan forced. Place one sheet of defrosted puff pastry on a lined baking tray and using your desired cookie cutter, cut as many shapes into the pastry as you can, removing any access pastry. Feel free to re-roll and use excess pastry to ensure there’s no waste. 2️⃣Spread 1 tbsp of the tomato paste or pizza sauce across the top of each pastry piece, add a sprinkle of cheese, your favourite toppings and a sprinkle of mixed herbs. 3️⃣Place in oven and cook for 15 mins or until top is lightly golden. Allow to cool slightly before enjoying x ❤️Note: try not to overtop the pastry otherwise they’ll end up soggy and that’s not what you want! #recipeoftheday #recipeshare #christmassnacks #christmascooking #partyrecipes #sydneychristmas #cookingwithkatie #snackideas
