Being an entrepreneur is in my cells. It’s a hard life, but it’s who I am. I’ve tried on different professions to find out if I’d find calm elsewhere and discovered my authentic path is to be a founder. I built the first action sports social network and it was exciting. I didn’t know what a startup was at the time or even being a founder. I was just combining the things I loved... travel, tech and action sports. I believe what sets me apart from others is how deeply I care about each person whether they are on my team, a customer, or a site visitor, I feel such gratitude that each person invests their time into my journey and what I’m up to. I continue to overcome new challenges. There will always be challenges building a business. Resilience is key. Some of the biggest discoveries have been how vital it is to have strong workflows and that going slow operationally will in end propel you forward faster. What I’d like everyone to know about my business is that I am showing up even when days are tough because I believe that genuinely in creating meaningful connection for others through my podcasts, through my events and through my digital communities.
