Very happy to share some images of my new installation ‘A Great Purchase II’ which is now on view at @codaapeldoorn 🤝🏼 Original artworks from various corporate art collections are exhibited in exact replicas of corporate spaces. The spaces look like they’ve been cut straight out of corporate buildings, to be placed on the museum floor. The meeting room contains artworks by Folkert De Jong (Rabobank), Marthe Wéry (BPD) and Iriée Zamblé (Albert Heijn). The office space contains artworks by Heidi Linck (UMC Utrecht) Rabi Koria (Antoni van Leeuwenhoek) and Janine Van Oene (Eneco). The waiting room contains artworks from Ad Gerritsen (Rijnstate) and Hester Oerlemans (Erasmus University). The installation functions as the scenography for the exhibition ‘Corporate Offsite Dwelling A’ which is curated by @jelmerwijnstroom. With this exhibition Jelmer won the @verenigingbedrijfscollecties curatorial award. Congrats Jelmer! 🙌🏼 The corporate installations are a continuation of the exhibition format I developed for my solo exhibition ‘A Great Purchase’ which took place at @anamasprojects in Barcelona last year. For this first edition I exhibited three original artworks that collectors bought at the gallery, in exact replicas of the collector’s houses.
