my #womancrush are these 6 beautiful women who had their lives stolen from them due to domestic violence, all residing in milwaukee county. they are ALL women of color, and all of these crimes happened this month. 1. our sister beautiful 49 year old Ladda Donsanouphith. she is hmong, she leaves behind 3 sons, and a granddaughter. she was shot and killed by her ex-boyfriend, who then turned the gun himself. Ladda, i lové you, we lové you, we will never forget you. 2. our sister beautiful 20 year old Alwiya Mohamed. she was a somali immigrant, she and her family have been part of this community since they came here from somalia years ago. she was shot and killed by her husband, who then turned the gun on himself while their one year old son was home. Alwiya, i lové you, we lové you, we will never forget you. 3. our sister beautiful 24 year old Ninoshka Maestre Lozada. she moved here from puerto rico when she was 10. her ex boyfriend shot and killed her in the backyard of her mother's home. she leaves behind her four kids, ranging in age from 3 months to 5 years old. Ninoshka’s grandmother held her as she took her last breath, and awaited for the ambulance. Ninoshka, i lové you, we lové you, we will never forget you. 4. our sister beautiful 66 year old Cynthia Walker. her 7 year old daughter witnessed the shooting happen. Cynthia was shot and killed by her boyfriend on her front porch. Cynthia, i lové you, we lové you, we will never forget you. 5. our beautiful sister 19 year old La’Dasia Porter and her queen mother 42 year old O’Keyin Riles. they were both killed inside of their home, La’Dasia lost her life while trying to protect her mom, the family said the shooter was the mom’s boyfriend.
