I celebrated National Cognac Day with an in depth history class and a very special tasting thanks to some very good friends who are the biggest booze nerds around. We tasted 6 amazing expressions of Cognac. To no surprise I really enjoyed the unique palate the Camus Île de Ré had to offer. The somewhat rare experience of trying a fins bois, single vineyard bottling from Through The Grapevine tickled me pink and I learned that Hine is Early Landed. What a day!
