Almost done with this monochromatic block-in. This thing ended up being kind of a lot. So many little things to try to capture. The driftwood was a lot of fun. Painting driftwood is how I imagine guitar soloing must feel like. Only it’s much slower and less entertaining in paint form. Excited to get this wrapped up so I can start laying in some color once it’s dry. If you’d told me back in art school that I’d eventually find it fun painting flowers and driftwood, well, I probably wouldn’t have believed you.
