Pigeon made a few new friends today, after he got out of the house, ambled up the creek, and walked straight into the front door of @jacksmarinesi “like he was gonna buy something”. Here he is, pictured with the wonderful Jenny of Shelter Island Animal Control, at the Shelter Island Police Station, where we were reunited. He didn’t want to leave yet; he was having too much fun. #jerkdog nearly gave me a heart attack. But I’m happy this small town is full of the kindest people. ❤️ Shelter Island, you have my heart. Pidge, you’re in the dog house.
