I think the best part about being an educator is the very sacred opportunity that we get to be in young people’s lives as they grow and mature. We get to watch them blossom into amazing citizens as enter into adulthood. Today was one of those special days where I got to see it in action in the form of Austin Hatch, a young man whom I had the pleasure of coaching through some of the most adverse circumstances I’ve ever seen. Today he told his story in a way that provided insight, inspiration and challenges us to grow in the face of tough times!
