The Music: “View From The Moon” angelbaby ft. Stolar (Link in Bio) I started singing when I was 7. I still remember that moment so vividly. For years all I did was sing, write songs & perform. Played over 1000 shows. In 2016 I started my journey as a writer/producer & planted the seeds of what has now become web3 metastar label and collective Hume. Today things come full circle. This is a milestone for me on many levels. First, it's been 4 years since I’ve been featured or released a song as an artist. @angelbaby pushed me hard on this one “u challenge me all the time bxtch, time for me to push u” 😈 - try saying no to angelbaby, not gonna happen. Fellow humie @greggschoenberg @angelbaby & I had been talking a lot about his @moonbirds & how powerful the philosophy of that whole project is. Angel told us about their moonbird metastar friends in the future and how brave they were in the fight for an open metaverse. This song was inspired by a mix of those conversations, @wearehume ‘s mission to being at the forefront of the evolution of music, building an open metaverse and angel’s commitment to these new community collabs. The moment the song was written I could feel how special it was🌐 @davidbeiner , the Humies & I thought deeply about the decision to have me as an artist feature. As Exec Producer and Chief Artist Officer at Hume my focus is to support our metastars in finding their artistic voices here in 2022. It's time for me to share a part of mine as well. After a year of talking passionately in sessions, on spaces, podcasts and panels about the importance of preserving the art of creative expression and building an open metaverse, it felt right to walk the walk and express myself as an artist as well. Lately many of you know me as a writer, producer and now as an executive producer. I'm honored to go back to my roots & work with angel in a new capacity singing on a song we wrote together.
