Located here is the incredible : Feminist Women’s Health Center @feministcenter This incredible facility was founded in 1976, and has been providing trans care since 2000. It is independently owned and BLACK LED. I had the absolute pleasure of spending time today with their FIRST BLACK executive director in this organization’s history, the incomparable Kwajelyn Jackson, she’s from St. Louis and has been doing this work for over 9 years AND her queen of a mother works here WITH HER. The staff here is a majority black/queer/poc staff. Even though Georgia has passed HB481 (trigger law), this clinic is providing : abortion care (up to 6 weeks) STI testing & treatment Annual Wellness Exams Emergency Birth Control & Birth Control HRT Estrogen Trauma Survivor Care Private Abortion Care Gender Affirming Care this clinic has already had people travel to them from out of state, who are rape victims. they’ve been doing the work, they do the work, and are the work.
