Today, @thrift.251 turns 2 years old! I’m proud of what I’ve been able to accomplish with this business and incredibly thankful for the people who have helped make it happen. It’s been a wild two years. In March, we were preparing for the best semester of business yet with a forecasted growth rate of well over 100%. When Covid hit, sales dropped to 20% of what we normally make. I felt like my business had been stolen out from under me. After being forced to slow down and take a break this summer, I’ve been envisioning what the future of this business can be. While much is still uncertain, I know that creating change in a broken fashion industry is really important work I want to keep doing. I’m so excited for what year three holds and how I can continue to grow this business!
