I could never picture myself being a mom. I wasn’t one of those girls who thought “all I want in life is to be a mom”. It was never on my radar until I randomly took a test, in Eli’s apartment bathroom my freshman year of college, when motherhood stopped me dead in my tracks. Except it didn’t stop me. It actually accelerated my life past what I could’ve ever imagined for myself as a scared 19 year old. As I surrendered to my new life I found someone new within myself. I found my true self. I think it would’ve taken me a long time to find her if it wasn’t for the biggest blessing of my life, my children. To all of the moms, I see you and I love you so much.
