Friends, for the past year and a half we have opened our doors to the public every Saturday. We called it “Open Studio” and it was something I really loved. Any small shop owner will tell you, nothing compares to the energy of a Saturday afternoon. We welcomed locals, out of state visitors and many international vintage enthusiasts. I am truly grateful for every single person who made the pilgrimage to our small shop in Tuckahoe, it really means a lot! With that said, all good things must come to an end. Effective immediately, we are discontinuing “Open Studio” public hours and focusing all of our efforts on private shopping appointments, our online business, and special projects. I still love in-person retail and feel it’s the best way to experience Wooden Sleepers. Private shopping appointments give you one-on-one attention, exclusive access to our entire vintage collection, pre-appointment consultation/pulls, and the comfort of shopping without a crowd. This feels like the best experience for all parties involved. I hope you agree. And for those out of state and beyond, we are committed to consistent online vintage drops, story sales, and more in 2026. Our books are open starting January 5, 2026.
