I remember the first time my son was tall enough to reach the buffet table of snacks at a block party and he was SO pleased with himself- and he promptly ate like 16 servings of pirates booty 😅 I remember wishing that he’d hang out at the veggie tray instead 🙃 but like, yeah right! I couldn’t blame the kid. He was in paradise. But still, I know it’s so easy to compare when you see others and it seems better or easier for them. I literally have to remind myself every single day that comparison is the thief of joy!!
