MAY YOU HAVE EASY ACCESS TO CLEAN WATER Maru and Marta make the daily, two hour trip to collect water, taking them away from school. The only water that they can find is salty, which they are forced to drink, causing health problems for them and their families. ................................ Our “MAY YOU...” project came about as a reaction to my last trip to the Horn of Africa, with @concernworldwideus, where the region is enduring the worst drought in 40 years. As we left conversations with people, they would say, “May your family be blessed.” I was constantly shocked that these people, who had nothing, least of all hope, were able to find it in their hearts to bless a fellow human being. It highlighted to me that we ARE all connected, and I started to think about other blessings that we would all want to wish upon our fellow brothers and sisters.
