Our Art Dept created a lot of worlds and decorated a lot of sets on this movie. Hidden among the Set Dressing and Props, we had fun placing a few easter eggs in the movie. This is a neat one that ties into the Daniels' last movie, 'Swiss Army Man'. 1 - Dan and Daniel knew I owned an old vending machine (and extra breakaway glass panels).. and wrote it into the fight scene that takes place in the IRS break room. 2. Tim Eulich's team made the gag awesome (and safe) using a very precise wire-pull setup. 3. Our SFX team, led by Jonathan Kombrinck, made the vending machine safe to smash into. 4. If you look closely at the contents you'll see that it's loaded with 'Cheese Puffs'. 5. The exact same 'Cheese Puffs' packages that we created for "Swiss Army Man" 6. A more obscure easter egg is that this exact vending machine was used years before for a similar gag on a movie that Kelsi and I had worked on. 7. This was the vending machine we used on 'The Greasy Strangler'
