I got more than I hoped for: a reignited passion for capturing moments - and a chance to be a part of a great initiative for black women at Spelman college studying STEM. I asked them about their majors, goals after graduating and what they wanted their headshots to emulate. And what I learned? This generation’s confidence just hits different. It’s a powerful reminder that, while there’s still work ahead, we’re moving into a time where authenticity, self-love, and confidence are showing up earlier — and reshaping the future. Smart, beautiful and determined. I can’t wait until they hit the workforce.
