The elements of our new canvas art capsule originally began as linoleum block prints of simple shapes, which our founder Michael Upton hand cut and then printed, scanned, and arranged into collage-like designs. “I like to force myself to start from a place of not knowing," he says. "I started cutting the linoleum with no plan or final vision in mind. It’s often when I begin this way and then follow my instincts that I get the best and most unexpected results.”
