It was a mellow, sunny Saturday morning in Brooklyn when I first met Freyan. She came by one of our pop-ups to try on sunglasses and we chatted parenthood (together with her husband Nico-san), covid, life on the west coast vs New York - the norms. Fast forward a few months and Freyan has launched Studio Rien arranging flowers for all occasions and we've become friends. While in Italy recently it dawned on me that Freyan could be a supreme model for the new BabyT frames. Fortunately she agreed to this modeling task, styled with pieces by Maria of Tintoreria, and she and Nico welcomed Craig and I to their cozy abode in Fort Greene (Brooklyn). At one point during the shoot their adorable 3-yr-old son, Luca, arrived home from Ft Greene park (with the Nanny) lightly stomping up the stairs and sweetly announcing "Mama...Mama I'm here" ... it was a beautiful morning. Thank you again Freyan, Nico, and Luca for making this such a memorable (& delicious) shoot.
