“Don’t you think it’s a bit obsessive to bother training while you’re pregnant”First things first and above all else: You do you. Train or don’t train, pregnant or not. Listen to your personal medical advice. Definitely don’t do anything that feels wrong ❤️.As long as you’re having a straightforward pregnancy; have clearance from your medical team; and feeling up to it. You CAN train whilst pregnant. That doesn’t mean you have to. But you can.Continuing my training whilst pregnant is something I’ve personally chosen to do (for the most part - don’t get me wrong some days I’m not feeling up to it!). But honestly - movement has kept me sane. So no, I don’t think I’m “obsessive”.I train to feel strong. To feel accomplished. To move my body in a way that feels so damn relieving from the little aches and pains pregnancy brings.I train to clear my mind. I train to improve my posture. I train to help my body feel strong enough to carry the extra load.I train because I love the way it makes me feel. Pregnant or not.Yes of course my training has changed over the course of my pregnancy. Of course I’m making alterations. Of course I’m putting baby first and would never do anything to compromise her health or mine. On days I don’t feel up to it, I don’t do it. I never place untoward expectations on myself to do anything that feels wrong. It’s time we stop putting pressure on people to act a certain way during certain stages of life 👏🏼.You do you. Live in a way that makes you feel good. Train or don’t train. It is your life and your decisions are yours to make.Lastly, be kind to people who are out there just trying to do their best ❤️ #foryou #fyp #pregnancy #pregnancyjourney
