“How do you know God is real?” I get this question often. I’m a student when it comes to my faith and what I believe in. I’m always seeking to know God more and see to see the connections in life experience. So I could I talk about all the ways science is a endless pursuit to explain the wonders of God, BUT the real answer is “I saw it with my own eyes.” CeCe Winans said “You weren’t there the night He found me.” I didn’t get that part of song until this morning. You see, I was there when doctors diagnosed my son with Fragile X Syndrome and said he would be mentally disabled his whole life and would probably never speak, or know who we are, or have a normal life... BUT GOD. That same child knows who his parents are, knows his siblings, and can say our names. That child can identify every Alphabet and can say them! I watch my child memorize every line to his favorite movie and can quote them verbatim. I was there! I was there when my mind took me to a dark place and convinced me I should die. I was there when I couldn’t get out of bed. I was there when suicidal thoughts pledged me on and hourly basis. I was there! I see everyday how some of the pain and some of the life experiences B and I have been through has been a source and tool for other Ppl to find their own way to God and healing. When you know that you know that you know THAT YOU KNOW there is no other possible reason for you to still be here, then you don’t need much convincing on what to believe. Iv seen what God has done and I continue to see what He is doing in so many ways. Keep your eyes open! His miracles are happening all the time! Look for it. Healing is happening now. Restoration is happening now. Peace is happening now. Love is happening now! It’s all happening. Look for it! And when they ask you how you know it’s real... tell them what you saw!
