★ ★ ★ SOUL SKATE 2022 ★ ★ ★⁣ It has been almost four years since we have been able to host our skate family. How we have missed you in Detroit! ⁣⁣ The events of the last two years have been a challenge to everyone but your requests have been heard.⁣⁣ Please know that our silence over this past year was out of respect to the suffering experienced throughout the world due to the pandemic. We thank all of our fellow skate party coordinators and DJs who have kept everyone rolling.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Last year, Soul Skate experienced a personal and devastating loss of one our members, Daniel SlyFox Mixon and his girlfriend Nakia Payton. We are still grieving our dear brother as many of you are with your loved ones. However the time has come for us to honor and celebrate Danny’s life. ⁣⁣ This year will be dedicated to his memory as we present SOUL SKATE 2022, THE SLYFOX EDITION.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ As you all know, due to Covid there are now new health and safety protocols in place. Capacities have been decreased at many rinks and as such we have had to adhere to the new limits. In order to ensure that all of our guests are safely accommodated, we will now be selling tickets ONLINE ONLY.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ THERE WILL BE NO IN PERSON TICKET SALES, NO TICKETS AT THE DOOR AND NO SKATE RENTALS.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ We really want to avoid anyone traveling to our city and not being able to attend the skating sessions. We humbly ask that you stay tuned for the ticket sales announcement. Be mindful that reserving a hotel room does not guarantee admission to the rink without an online ticket.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE ON FEBRUARY 28, 2022.
