As Summer comes to an end I’m left to reflect on all the lessons I’ve learned. I did more markets this Summer than I ever have while also working two other jobs! I met amazing vendors, many younger than me, who have created such a warm sense of community & support. I have found that some markets you make decent money, and some you lose money. Ultimately I realize that Portland markets may not always be the right fit for me. Having limited months with nice weather to do markets can also make them feel over saturated & they are all happening at the same time. In my experience, the typical PNW customer likes to wear more neutrals and outdoor hiking brands. After talking to some vendors from California I believe that may be a better fit in the future and hope to one day make it out there :) Videos coming soon✨
