I have always been fascinated by the lava stone resulting from the eruptions of Vesuvius. I wanted to create sunglasses carved in this rock but in the end I decided to recreate the texture using cellulose acetate. I designed the model and carved it in CNC then by hand I sculpt the pieces to recreate the texture. Concreet is the name I gave to this project.
