Big news! Jake and I (and the boys🐾) are moving to Portugal 🇵🇹 After nearly 8 months of planning and waiting, our visas were officially approved today! What started as a “what if” has turned into a reality. We’re moving to Miramar, a small coastal town only a short train ride away from downtown Porto. Our trip in August was actually to find our new home and somehow we found the most perfect place. A little apartment, only a 10 minute walk from the beach 🌊 Now that our visas have been approved, the countdown is on and it’s about to get real. We need to be there within the next 4 months 🙃 It’s hard to put into words what this next chapter means. Austin has been everything to me for the past 10 years. The place where I built my career, found lifelong friends who became my family, and helped me grow into the person ready for this huge leap of faith! Feeling endlessly grateful for the life we’ve built here and even more excited for the one waiting for us on the other side of the Atlantic and for being able to get EU citizenship ✈️ It’s not going to be easy, but nothing worth doing ever is. Here’s to new beginnings, downgrading my closet and chasing the kind of life that feels like a dream - living that retired life!! I love you all and yes, please come and visit ❣️
