Learning “Yellow” at chipmunk speed for our music video shoot was a wonderful technique to memorize the lyrics, as it forced me to use muscle memory. As we prepare for touring later this year, I’m now considering using it as a technique to learn all of our songs...running speed drills for the rest of the set list to prepare for tour. We JUST released Yellow and announced Crybaby. The album isn’t even out yet, and I’m already feeling the pressure to find ways to make it stick and cut through the noise.
