Hi friends 💐 🔉 This is an urgent call for mutual aid for a dear friend and a beloved member of the NYC & international dance music community—Sybil Jason. Sybil and her mom, two black Haitian women, are in need of immediate support and experiencing dire conditions as a result of the racist systems in place across housing, healthcare and employment. A day and a half ago we set up a fundraiser with a goal of $15,000 which would be a life-shifting amount for them. Incredibly, we are well over halfway already!!️But we still need your help! To truly free our friends from this oppressive situation at hand, we need to blow through this goal💥💥💥 it must be mentioned that the dance music community has stepped forward to support in many ways - @thecarrynation_nyc have offered to fundraise at their door this weekend and @thebunkerny will also do this next weekend. @hk_patchbae is raffling off rare and out of press records, and @sister_zo put together a news piece and boosted via @resident_advisor. This is so wonderful.
