Blood doesn't make family. Love makes family. Your CHOSEN family are those who are part of a soul connection. People you have loved and cherished thru every iteration of you. They continue to come back together in different forms over and over again. I have always said how truly fortunate I was for the chosen family that gravitated to @lailarubycostello but this woman @daniellebutlerleu loved Laila as if she was her own. Laila was the daughter Danielle never had and my beloved @max__leu is the son I never had. Danielle was one of the most boisterous people I have ever met. She was up for everything. She loved an adventure and loved a good time she always smiled as big as this picture and quickly took everyone in as her dear friend. Danielle loved her boys, John, Max, Jules and Michael more than anything. She loved a great burger and a summertime beach bonfire. Danielle was my daughter's other mother her adventure buddy and at times her best friend. Danielle was MY chosen family and I'm truly having such a hard time processing her passing. 💗
