Happy International Women’s Day! To all my spicy, resilient, courageous, overcoming and strong women out there I celebrate you today. You’re not too much, you’re enough, you’re worthy, you matter in your imperfections and messiness you’re still enough.. in the highs and lows you’re still strong and can rise above all things. As a woman of color raised in a dominant male culture and coming to as an immigrant to this country.. I have always felt “different;” but I’m so thankful for God’s grace and empowerment in my life. He has given me the courage to overcome the challenges and find belonging in his presence. To all my ladies out there, take a moment to be proud of you for all the things that you have always overcome that have made you resilient today.
