I like to tell a story when taking photos and capture it as though I’m reading a book with a beginning, a middle and an end. My inspiration for Bethany here was of a circus performer living in Paris, who has just finished a show and is on the way home. The stage lights fade, the applause quiets, and the magic lingers in the air. Walking home through cobblestone streets in the afterglow of a performance... a quiet symphony of glitter, grace, and exhaustion. Ballet slippers still worn, sequin fringing reflecting in the pink evening sky and the night whispers ‘you are free’ Here’s to chasing the spotlight and finding poetry in the quiet moments after.
